Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Bandwagon ("Bandwagon", "we") about using the Bandwagon app and website. By creating an account or using Bandwagon, you agree to them, to our community guidelines and to our privacy policy.

The beta

Bandwagon is in beta. Features can change, break or be removed, and sample content may appear alongside real fans. During the beta, payments run in test mode and nothing is charged.

Who can use Bandwagon

You must be 19 or older during the beta and able to form a binding contract. One account per person. Keep your account to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens on it. Beta accounts have no email or password yet, so an account can’t be recovered once you log out or delete the app.

Your content

You own what you post. You give Bandwagon a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show, share and promote it within Bandwagon and on our channels, for as long as it’s on Bandwagon. Only post what you have the right to post, and nothing that breaks our community guidelines. We may remove content or suspend accounts that do.

SeatBid

• SeatBid lets a seat holder offer their seat for part of a game. You get the right to sit in that seat for the time shown, not the ticket itself. The ticket holder’s ticket terms and the venue’s rules still apply, and venue staff have the final say inside the building.
• When you bid, the amount is reserved, not charged. If you win, you have a short window to claim and pay for the seat, or it goes to the next bidder. Declining a seat you won pauses your bidding for a few minutes.
• After paying, check in at the seat within 10 minutes. If you don’t, the seat is released and you’re refunded.
• If there’s a problem at the seat (someone’s in it, it doesn’t match, you can’t get in), report it in the app. Your seat ends and you’re refunded in full.
• Seat holders must actually hold the seats they offer and leave them free for the time sold or gifted.
• SeatBid runs on the honour system. Before every purchase, listing or gift you confirm that you will leave the seat when your time ends (or, as a holder, leave it free for the time you chose). Anyone who refuses to leave or give up a seat can be removed by venue staff, banned from the building, permanently banned from Bandwagon, and may face legal consequences.
• Fees are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Challenges and contests

Challenges and prizes follow our contest rules. Apple is not a sponsor of, or involved in, any contest on Bandwagon.

No betting

Bandwagon does not offer, take, arrange, facilitate or promote bets or wagers of any kind, and no real money is ever staked on a game in Bandwagon. The Book is a 19+ chat room where fans share picks and predictions for bragging rights only. Arranging bets with other fans, or posting links to betting or casino sites, is against these terms; such links are removed automatically. See responsible gambling.

Don’t

• Harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or post anything illegal, hateful or sexual.
• Scam, sell fake seats, or offer seats you don’t hold.
• Spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with Bandwagon or other people’s use of it.
• Use Bandwagon to take, arrange or promote bets of any kind, or post links to betting or casino sites.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Disclaimers and liability

Bandwagon is provided “as is”. We don’t control games, venues, teams or other fans, and we’re not responsible for what happens at a venue. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Law, changes and contact
