Community guidelines

Bandwagon is a crowd of fans. Cheer loud, chirp the other team, and keep it fun for everyone in the building.

Zero tolerance

Bandwagon has no place for the following. We remove it and may close the account straight away:

• Hate, harassment or bullying, including targeting players, officials or other fans for who they are.
• Threats or encouraging violence.
• Sexual content or nudity, and anything sexual involving minors.
• Sharing someone’s private information.
• Scams, fake seats or offering seats you don’t hold.
• Taking, arranging or promoting bets of any kind, or posting links to betting or casino sites.
• Spam, and pretending to be someone else, including teams, players and businesses.

Junior hockey players

Many junior players are minors. Talk about their play, never about their bodies or private lives, and don’t message them.

Automatic filter

Slurs, sexual terms and the strongest profanity are masked automatically everywhere fans write, and links to betting or casino sites are removed.

Report and block

Tap ••• on a post, or a name in the chat, to report or block. Our team reviews reports and acts within 24 hours. Blocking hides that person’s posts and messages from you; manage it in Settings → Blocked accounts.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is: the content is removed, the account is warned, suspended or closed, and we involve venue staff or the police when someone could get hurt.
